Tottenham Hotspur have appointed former Celtic head coach Ange Postecoglou as new manager
Postecoglou has become the first Australian to manage an English Premier League club. His four-year contract will start on 1 July 2023.
“Ange brings a positive mentality and a fast, attacking style of play,” said Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy.
“He has a strong track record of developing players and an understanding of the importance of the link from the academy – everything that is important to our club. We are excited to have Ange join us as we prepare for the season ahead.”
Postecoglou won the Scottish Premiership, Scottish League Cup and Scottish Cup with Celtic in 2022-23.
He has succeeded former Tottenham manager Antonio Conte, who was fired in March 2023.
Tottenham ended the 2022-23 EPL in eighth position.
