Kaizer Chiefs confirm signing of Venezuelan international midfielder

Kaizer Chiefs have announced the signing of Venezuelan international midfielder Edson Castillo.
Castillo is one of six new signings announced by Amakhosi on Monday. He is joined by Pule Mmodi from Lamontville Golden Arrows, attacking midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane from Cape Town City, former SuperSport United defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Defender Given Msimango from TS Galaxy and forward Ranga Chivaviro from Marumo Gallants.
Announcing the capture of the six-cap Venezuelan international Chiefs wrote on Twitter: “Chiefs have also signed Venezuelan international Edson Daniel Castillo Garcia, for two years with an option for a further one year.
“The South American who plays in the middle of the park joins from Monagas SC. He is expected to arrive in South Africa this week.”
Castillo, who has played all over the world, has also spent time playing in Mexico and Azerbaijan.
